Heaven can wait - Jetzt erst recht! / Gastspiel

Forget everything you think you know about retirees. When the HEAVEN CAN WAIT choir from Hamburg takes the stage, they don't knit - they rock.

Around 35 singers aged 70 to 93 deliver living proof that passion has no expiration date. Life experience meets the beats of the grandchildren's generation, heart meets hip-hop, choir meets chart hits.

Beyond surprising interpretations of well-known songs, the (G)Oldies present their own pieces for the first time. Thematically, they tackle the really big questions - the meaning of life, happiness, farewell - but with groove and a healthy dose of humour. Depth yes, gloom no.
