Festkonzert 60 Jahre Ott-Orgel - Festkonzert der 28. Internationalen Orgeltage St. Jacobi

A festive concert marking the 60th anniversary of the Paul Ott organ takes place on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 6 p.m. in St. Jacobikirche, Göttingen. Organist Angela Metzger performs with the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra under Stefan Kordes, presenting Joseph Jongen's Symphonie concertante op. 81 as the evening's centrepiece. This is one of two German dates on Metzger's current tour. The 1966 instrument features four manuals and 4,806 pipes, ranking among the largest organs in Lower Saxony. Admission: 22 €.
