Description was written before the event

Kevin Cash and The Cattlemen play country, folk, and rock'n'roll - and are explicitly not a Johnny Cash cover band, despite what the name might suggest. The band brings their own style to the songs of the master: upbeat rock'n'roll numbers alternate with classic American folk songs.

Kevin Cash himself has summed up what drives them:

"We want to try to bring you back the good old sound of the 50s and 60s. It's not about imitating the great musicians of that era, but about playing in a way that sounds like Kevin Cash and The Cattlemen".
