Description was written before the event

The 17th Berliner Hörspielfestival is an annual celebration of the radio play art form, held at the Akademie der Künste Berlin on Hanseatenweg. The festival showcases audio dramas from Germany and beyond, bringing together writers, directors, and fans of the genre.

About the venue: Akademie der Künste Berlin - Hanseatenweg

The Akademie der Künste at Hanseatenweg is a landmark of postwar modernism, built in 1960 by Werner Düttmann in the Tiergarten district. It serves as one of two main sites of the Berlin arts academy, hosting exhibitions, readings, concerts and symposia across all artistic disciplines. The building's glazed facade and open interior remain among the most distinctive examples of 1950s West Berlin architecture.
