It is 2026: Adolf Hitler wakes up in the middle of Berlin, with no idea how he got there. He explores a world that - from his perspective - he considers improved by National Socialist influence. When he spots the date in a newsagent's, he collapses. The shop owner lets him stay for a few days; through television and the internet, Hitler finds his way into the present.

Scandalous but seemingly harmless clips make him an overnight internet sensation, and other media soon take notice. A small group of media professionals chasing quick money helps him challenge the society, the elite, and the political parties of today's Germany.
