Description was written before the event

Kaiserslautern accordionist Alexandra Maas invites you together with the Kammgarn cultural centre to a concert evening dedicated to the accordion - selected by the Landesmusikrat as "Instrument of the Year 2026".

Five musicians devote themselves in different ways to their keys and buttons on this evening: Ralf Bethke, Susanne Brödel, Vincenzo Carduccio, Karin Füssel, Madeleine Giese and Alexandra Maas, as well as the ensemble french touch - plus an announced surprise. The programme features chanson, musette, tango, jazz and original compositions, showcasing the dynamic range and expressive power of the instrument across many of its facets.
