Hörbie Schmidt - singer, guitarist, lyricist and composer from northern Germany - hosts a music programme featuring his own German-language songs and cover versions of J. Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, E. Clapton, B.B. King, Gary Moore and others. The original German lyrics explore desire, love and passion - between ambition and reality, heaven and hell, illusion and vision. The tone ranges from cheerful and ironic to dreamy and direct.

The band members come from Hamburg's music scene: vocalist Lili Czuya has worked with Roger Cicero, Johannes Oerding and Jessy Martens; drummer Christian Nowak with Chuck Berry and Gary Brooker (Procol Harum). Keyboardist Sven Selle is a sought-after musician in Hamburg across rock and gospel, bassist Kay Wrede has played with Tommy Emanuel among others.

The programme combines rock, blues, funk, jazz and heartfelt ballads under the titles "Facetten der Liebe" and "For our heroes - own style".
