Second chances, old feelings, and the question of how not to lose yourself - these are the themes of the evening with Inka Lindberg and Jessica Winter.

In "Ever since she kissed me" (Knaur), Lola runs into Maxi after years apart - her former best friend and first great love. As Lola cares for her father with dementia and her own life slips further into the background, the reunion stirs up desires she had long pushed aside. In "Whispers of Tomorrow" (Heyne), people try to find their footing again after life-changing setbacks: following an accident, Eden reaches for painkillers more and more often - and it is Declan, her former childhood neighbour, who notices how much she has changed, because the depths she is staring into are not unfamiliar to him.
