I Am Not a Nazi
- A staged reading by Hank Teufer
- A production commissioned by event-theater e.V.
Three people, one room, no way out except through conversation: a teacher, a journalist, and a young activist meet - bound together by a sentence that raises questions: "I am not a Nazi." What does this statement actually mean? Where do prejudice, exclusion, and right-wing thinking patterns begin? How does language shape our thinking, and what responsibility does each of us bear for our shared life in society?
The staged reading approaches these questions in a compelling yet accessible way - not to lecture, but to encourage people of different generations to reflect, discuss, and challenge. A theatrical evening about democracy, tolerance, conviction, and civic courage - and about the question of how we want to live together.
Following the performance, there will be time for conversation.
