Pat Fritz - Americana music, somewhere between Nashville and the Reeperbahn

Pat Fritz has lived near Hamburg's Reeperbahn for over 20 years and maintains a close musical connection with Nashville. From this tension emerge his stories and sound. Americana music represents a blend of all genres with American roots - for Pat Fritz specifically: soul, country, and blues. His recently released singles "Closer to you" and "With you" demonstrate this, as does the 2024 "Best of Album" featuring various guest musicians.

Since 2017, Fritz has worked with his band in Hamburg; the album "Car Ride" shows a distinctly rockier side compared to his earlier work. Yet the core of his music remains guitar and vocals - acoustic, unplugged, handmade.

On stage, Fritz performs as a duo: Jens Wrede accompanies him on acoustic bass, percussion, and vocals. In addition to guitar, ukulele and other percussion elements are featured.
