Gabriella Santos de Lima, born in 1997 in São Paulo, studied creative writing and cultural journalism at the Hildesheim Literary Institute and worked as a flight attendant before dedicating herself fully to writing. With her debut, she won a competition and placed 12th in the Lovelybooks Reader Prize; seven of her titles made it onto the Der Spiegel bestseller list.
