La Royal Tango (Kassel) - Tango Quintett

The tango quintet La Royal Tango dedicates itself to the style and expressiveness of orchestras from the golden age of tango, bringing their sound to the stage - both for dancers on the dance floor and for concert audiences.

The concert programme features works by Osvaldo Pugliese, Horacio Salgán, Astor Piazzolla, and Aníbal Troilo, presented in arrangements that showcase the breadth of the genre from tradition to more contemporary forms of tango.

For the milonga, the ensemble interprets the sound of the great orchestras that shaped the history of milonga-tango as authentically as possible.
