Precede With Intention: On The Assembling Of Three - Emanuele Co', Yan Eliv Leiva, Emanuele Piras
DAS BETT - Live Musik Club, Frankfurt, Germany
A site-specific, interdisciplinary performance unfolds from the encounter of body, sound, spoken word, and architecture. Rather than following a fixed choreography, the work listens attentively to the properties of each space - its acoustics, surfaces, proportions, and invisible tensions.
The three performers treat the venue as an active co-creator. Through improvisation and shared compositional strategies, movement, live music, and text continuously influence one another, so the performance emerges in real time. Gravity functions both as a physical force and as a compositional principle that determines how bodies relate to the space, to each other, and to the audience.
Drawing from the artistic practices of Emanuele Co', Yan Eliv Leiva, and Emanuele Piras, "On the Assembling of Three" examines performance as a process of listening - not as a form of representation. The work asks how attention can become a creative act and how the space itself shapes the way we move, listen, and relate to one another. Each performance is a unique response to its surroundings, shaped by the presence of everyone in the room.
