The Progressive Nostalgics - New Visions

Age rating: from 6 years.

France in the 1950s: Michel, an average bank clerk, and his wife Hélène live what seems like the perfect family life. When their new washing machine short-circuits, both are catapulted into the year 2025 - and everything turns upside down. Hélène becomes an ambitious career woman, Michel must navigate life as a househusband in a smart home.

Instead of patriarchal order, equality suddenly reigns, digital assistants meddle in their affairs, and their daughter wants to marry her girlfriend. While Hélène enjoys her newfound freedom, Michel struggles with the modern world and longs for the "good old days". But how do you operate a washing machine on a time-travel journey?

A witty comedy about gender roles, emancipation, and the everyday chaos between yesterday and today.
