Saaba-Nur Cheema, political scientist and educator (born 1987), grew up in Frankfurt as the daughter of Pakistani refugees. Meron Mendel, historian (born 1976), grew up in a kibbutz in Israel and is today a professor of social work and director of the Anne Frank Education Centre in Frankfurt.
