Bajazzo Invasion - Pantomime, Clownery, Magic and Music

Bajazzo Invasion is an artistic collective of three clowns and a magician: Lukas Besuch, Bernd Busch, Merlin Pohse, and Alexander Merk. The production had its world premiere at the Avignon Festival in 2024, where the ensemble performed for three weeks.

The show begins with a plane crash - as the four repair their "flying machine," a rapid-fire spectacle of clownery, pantomime, and magic unfolds, filled with music and a humorous competition for the audience's favor that ultimately leads to the founding of an orchestra. The four artists need no words.

Trashy, brazenly funny, wonderfully incorrect, and delightfully odd - a family spectacle in the spirit of contemporary circus.
