Rathmann & Boya Dim - Double-Headliner Concert
BORA, Duisburg, Germany
RATHMANN
Rathmann play dark guitar pop - raw, unpolished, dirty, spacious and infused with romance. On their debut album "Die Goldenen Zwanziger", they found their own distinctive sound and tell stories with honesty and intimacy: about unwanted pregnancies, people who have lost their way, dystopian visions of the future. Abyssal and introspective, catchy and beautiful.
From the indie-rock "Warum tut Liebe so" through the folk-tinged "Trauriger Geist" to the Italian-Western title track - the same hand is visible everywhere: a band that doesn't follow the zeitgeist, but only itself.
BOYA DIM
"Boya Dim is raw, intense and unfiltered. Whether melancholically beautiful fragility or desperate, helpless rage - it's these uniquely complex emotional blends that Boya Dim captures so well." That's how a Traumzeit festival organizer describes the project - and hits on what resonates on big stages too.
Floating guitar textures and a distinctive voice meet deep bass vibrations and driving drums. The dynamic between band members transfers to the audience - a togetherness you feel in the room.
