True Crime with Forensic Pathologist Philipp Möller

Berlin-based forensic pathologist Philipp Möller and true crime commentator Dr. Tino Grosche offer insights into the world of forensic medicine - from extended suicides, through revenge murders, to sadistic acts and intimate partner violence.

Möller explains live which methods and expertise are used to reconstruct the course of events: How do you recognize violence without visible traces? When do medical facts decide guilt or innocence in court? He has worked in Berlin's forensic medicine for ten years and investigated cases including the Ku'damm speeders and a violent crime committed by a politician.

Dr. Tino Grosche has looked behind the scenes of brutal crimes alongside investigators, prosecutors, forensic pathologists, prison doctors, and facility directors, bringing this perspective to the evening.
