Die Angeschlagenen - "Selbsthilfegruppe"

On October 6, 2026, the pop-comedy ensemble Die Angeschlagenen performs their programme "Selbsthilfegruppe" on Borkum. The title already hints at much: who Die Angeschlagenen are and what pop-humour means will become clear over the course of the evening.

The programme draws on the ailments of ageing and the corona year - both reasons to reinvent oneself. Beyond the joy of witty rhymes, music came into play, and so Max Benz returned to the stage of carnival events with his guitar in recent years. The repertoire of Die Angeschlagenen, however, extends far beyond carnival hits: crumbs in the car, the Thermomix, DIY disasters and other small everyday struggles with oneself or one's immediate surroundings provide the material. The therapeutic offer: singing together, certainly laughing together. Musically, exceptional bassist Mario Ambass ensures that the acoustic guitar of the trio grooves particularly well.

As a special guest on Borkum is guitarist Mirko Meeuw - a good friend of Die Angeschlagenen and occasionally on stage with them. On October 6, he will enrich several pieces with his virtuoso playing.
