Gustav Peter Wöhler Band - Live in Concert

Singer and actor Gustav Peter Wöhler has been performing with his band for 25 years. It all started early: as a child he entertained guests at his parents' inn near Herford with the jukebox, and later came gigs in the canteen of the Hamburger Schauspielhaus. The current line-up of the Gustav Peter Wöhler Band has been together since 2008 - alongside frontman Gustav Peter Wöhler, the group features bassist Olaf Casimir, guitarist Mirko Michalzik, and Kai Fischer on grand piano and keyboards.

The quartet's set is a rotating collection of personal favourite songs, drawing connections between stars and one-hit wonders, timeless classics and personal discoveries. The range runs from Joe Jackson through Paul Simon and David Bowie to Rio Reiser and June Carter. Between songs, Wöhler shares the personal stories behind each choice.
