11 Freunde Live - The Other History of Football

Paradise birds, magical passes and missed chances

Philipp Köster and Stephan Reich present the new live programme from 11FREUNDE: "The Other History of Football" takes you from wild guys in long trousers to today's glossy spectacles - featuring curious goals, botched interviews, daring slides and unleashed commentators. Texts, films and anecdotes come from the two 11FREUNDE veterans themselves.

Philipp Köster is editor-in-chief of 11FREUNDE magazine and has been touring with live programmes since 2005. He collects shirts and stadium programmes, knows the Romanian champion from 1984 and can recite the Borussia Dortmund line-up from the 1986 relegation play-off against Fortuna Cologne from memory. He has also written numerous football books, including one on the history of the Bundesliga - and is a devoted fan of Arminia Bielefeld.

Stephan Reich is a long-time 11FREUNDE author, journalist and author. His text collection "Days of Thunder" about Frankfurt Eintracht, whose passionate fan he is, was recently published; his debut novel "When It Burns" was already a great success. He regularly appears in the video podcast "Football 2000".
