SIGNING SESSION: "The Trap" & Other Books

On October 8, 2026, Melanie Raabe will be at the Hugendubel bookstore Frankfurt on Steinweg for a signing session - as part of FBM 2026. She will sign "The Trap" and other books.

"The Trap" tells the story of writer Linda Conrads, 38, who has not left her villa on Lake Starnberg for eleven years. When she recognizes the face of a man on television whom she suspects of murdering her sister, she devises a plan: to lure him into a trap. From October 13, 2026, the story will also be available as a Netflix series.

Melanie Raabe debuted in 2015 with "The Trap" and has since published four more thrillers and the non-fiction works "Creativity" and "The Year of Wonders" - all SPIEGEL bestsellers. Her works have been published in more than 20 countries. "The Shadow" was adapted for ZDF neo, and several other adaptations are in development. Raabe lives in Cologne, is a reading ambassador for the Lesen Foundation, and patron of Nabu.
