Neivi Martinez is a German-Mexican soprano and Latin jazz artist. Rooted in the bel canto tradition and with a pronounced passion for Latin American rhythms, she bridges classical opera and Latin jazz. After eleven years as a permanent ensemble member at theatres in Germany and Austria, she developed her distinctive artistic profile as a freelance artist in Vienna.

She gained international attention through television appearances on Rolando Villazón's show "Stars von Morgen" and performances across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Her album "Art Songs of the World" was released in 2024 on Universal Music; that same year she received the Intercontinental Music Award as best interpreter.

She is accompanied by musicians from Marburg's jazz scene. The programme features works by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mongo Santamaría, Hank Mobley, and Jerry Ross, as well as compositions by Jörg Eichberger.
