"Four Songs for a Halleluja!" is a trash-music bingo with live music - conceived by David Saam (Kellerkommando) and Res Richter (Boxgalopp), together with Tom Stapelfeld (Charlotte / Malasañers), the creators of "Kneipensingen für Alle".
The concept: From a list of 32 songs spanning rock, pop, Franken folk, and other curiosities, each audience member selects 16 and enters them into a 4x4 grid. Then David, Res, and Tom on clarinet, accordion, and drums play their own selection of 16 of the 32 songs - but in completely unexpected arrangements: the metal anthem becomes a tango, the sentimental hit turns into punk, the indie track becomes a waltz.
Whoever has four songs on their card correct calls out "Halleluja!" and wins a prize, such as a free drink. Whoever collects the most hallelujas over the evening gets a special surprise.
