Christian Ehring, known as the host of extra3 and a cast member of heute-show, is touring with his new solo programme. The theme: reconciliation - in a country where divisions deepen, conflicts escalate within seconds, and civilized debate increasingly gives way to insults and abuse.

Ehring admits he hasn't always risen above it all. He too has dissed and bashed, shamed and blamed, silenced and fronted - sometimes without knowing what these terms even mean. But now the satirist wants to retrain: to reconcile with us, us with the world, left with right, Elmex with Aronal.

The programme is political, personal, and discursive - and seeks not what divides us, but what still connects us. Ehring is convinced: reconciliation begins with listening.
