Season Gala 2026/27 - Presentation of the Theatre Mask - Highlights of the New Season

The new theatre season opens over two consecutive days.

On Friday, 25 September, Theater Trier launches the new season with the traditional theatre gala in the Main Hall. Performances from all disciplines offer a preview of the upcoming season; at the same time, the Theatre Taler and Theatre Mask awards are presented for outstanding achievements from the previous theatre year.

On Saturday, 26 September, the house at Augustinerstrasse opens from 2 p.m. for a theatre festival with a programme for the whole family. Guided tours of the construction site provide information about the planned major renovation. At 6 p.m., a gala programme with performances from all disciplines follows.
