Lucy Afarensis works at the fish counter of the SuperRiesen supermarket: arranging, weighing, entering data, sticking labels - from morning to night, every day. And every day her supervisor insults her for every mistake, calling her a Neanderthal. When someone steals her lunch box during her bus ride to work, she gets off to chase the thieves - and unexpectedly finds herself caught in a vortex that pulls her back through 4.6 billion years of human history, to the very beginning of life on Earth and beyond, perhaps toward a new Big Bang.

Gwendoline Soublin tells in her play, with humor and great poetry, the story of a woman under precarious conditions - and at the same time the story of planet Earth. Directed by Julie Grothgar, whose production of "The Imaginary Animal" by Valère Novarina at the Theatre on the Ruhr in Mülheim was selected for the Nachtkritik-Theatertreffen and makes her debut at Theater Aachen.
