On the centenary of Ingeborg Bachmann's birth, this evening explores new perspectives on a body of work that resists straightforward interpretation. At its heart is the biography "Two People Are in Me", which draws on previously unknown sources. Heinz Bachmann discusses the family influences that shaped his sister; further contributions illuminate her relationships with other artists and life partners, as well as her affinity with music - revealing how closely existential and artistic inquiry are woven throughout Bachmann's work.
