Sven Ochsenbauer Trio - Jazz

The Sven Ochsenbauer Trio - featuring Sven Ochsenbauer (piano/composition), Markus Schlesag (bass) and Stefan Spatz (drums) - has built a strong reputation through concerts in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, as well as several CD releases. The programme consists of compositions by Sven Ochsenbauer, including several new pieces.

Ochsenbauer works as a jazz pianist, composer and film music arranger. His compositional output is documented through recordings with piano trio, solo piano and various other ensembles. Some of his works have been published by netmusica (Baden-Württemberg) - including pieces for solo piano, guitar and chamber ensembles. Two new solo releases are currently available: "HoamadJazz - die Zweite!", the second part of his CD series in which he places traditional folk songs in a jazz context, and the album "Circles" featuring eight new compositions.

This event is made possible through the support of Tonkünstlerverband Bayern e.V. from the FREIE KUNST funding package of the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and the Arts.
