Description was written before the event

"Sophia Club" is a "Live Philosophy" format from the digital magazines "Aeon" and "Psyche", which regularly takes place only in New York, London, and Melbourne. Rainer Kern brings it to Heidelberg for the second time - to Germany's oldest academic center of philosophy, with a history spanning 640 years.

The evening revolves around this year's festival motto "Beauty" - a moderated conversation exploring different dimensions of the theme, interspersed with live musical interventions. By the end, both elements merge: the beauty of thought meets the beauty of jazz.

The line-up is available exclusively on the website.
