Bruno Jonas - Klappe halten!

Jonas is offered a role in the film satire "Herzlos": he is to play the editor-in-chief of an influential media outlet - an unscrupulous journalist without morals or integrity, who builds his career on lies, half-truths, and fake news.

After reading the script, Jonas comes on stage indignant and opens his new programme "KLAPPE HALTEN" with the exclamation: "I cannot play this despicable bastard! This has nothing to do with satire." From that point on, he poses himself self-critical questions: What is satire allowed to do - really everything, or are there limits? Should one then rather stay silent, practise self-censorship? What role is expected of him - in the film, in public life, in private, in the spectrum of opinion in this democracy?

Jonas does not know if his mind is still optimally calibrated. He sees himself as a dissenter - and suffers from it.
