Brazilian Sounds: Forró Fusion / Rafael Beibi Trio

An evening with two bands: Forró Fusion and Rafael Beibi Trio.

Forró Fusion brings together four musicians with diverse backgrounds in Brazilian music. Caramuru - bandleader of Forró de KA and co-founder of the Forró dance association in Karlsruhe - has been performing on stages across Europe since 2012. Cainã Araújo, an accordionist, vocalist, and composer, launched his international career with the album "Estrada do Meu Peito". Together with Rafa Balancê and Filipe Moreno, they form a quartet. The second band is Rafael Beibi (Dona Zaíra) with his trio, coming directly from Brazil: the singer, songwriter, and percussionist from Piracicaba founded the band Dona Zaíra, participated in the TV show "SuperStar" in 2015, and has released eight albums - collaborating with artists including Hermeto Pascoal, Dominguinhos, and Jota Pê. He is accompanied by Guegué Medeiros and Rafa Virgulino.

Brazilian finger food with various specialties will be served.
