Leonie Swann's sheep detective novels are a phenomenon: "Glennkill" - just adapted for film with Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson - achieved immediate and enormous success, followed by "Garou". Now the woolly four-legged detectives face their third case: their beloved shepherdess Rebecca has vanished, leaving behind a finger and a letter the flock cannot decipher. One thing is clear: only the flock itself can save Rebecca.

"Widdersehen" (DuMont) combines suspense and dry humour with a perspective from outside on the human world we know. Leonie Swann discusses this in conversation with television culture journalist Ariane Binder on the Literaturhaus stage.
