Description was written before the event
Japanese ghost stories
In "Dare so kare", Theater NADI brings an atmospheric piece to the stage based on the ghost story collection by writer Lafcadio Hearn. The ensemble creates a world where eerie apparitions, playful spirits, and lost souls mirror human longing and memory.
Theater NADI is an ensemble of dancers and actors founded in 2004 by pantomime artist and actor Steffen Findeisen and Japanese actress Noriko Dahlinger (née Seki). Their work combines poetic gestures and ritual masks with dance elements. For "Dare so kare", the ensemble collaborates for the first time with Lina Sophie Rothaug and Andrew Connolly-Gilchrist.
