Deborah Hay - Performance Club

Deborah Hay, founder of postmodern dance, presents her latest work "Performance Club" - a performance that unfolds anew over nine evenings, blurring the boundaries between performer and audience, between art and life.

Performance Club runs for one hour total: 15 to 30 minutes of live performance, followed by a 45 to 30-minute phase in which the audience shapes the remaining time themselves. There is no verbal feedback or criticism. Instead, each person is invited to respond to what they have seen - through meditation, drawing, writing, dancing, movement, resting, or in their own unique way.

The core idea is dance performance as an open library, structured according to specific principles and oriented toward research.
