Golem

"Golem_e fango è il mondo" (Golem and Mud is the World) is an award-winning multimedia theatre piece by director and dramaturg Mariasole Brusa, created in co-production with the Venice Biennale and supported by Teatro del Drago, based in Ravenna.

The work addresses the devastating floods in Emilia-Romagna in May 2023. Brusa developed the concept in the immediate aftermath of the flooding in her hometown of Forlì and across Romagna. "Mud" serves as the central artistic motif of the piece.

The work combines puppet theatre, contemporary dance, live performance, and animated documentary film.
