The Invitation

THE INVITATION

One evening. One lie. A complete stranger as a "best friend". What could possibly go wrong?

Welcome to the world of Daniel - a successful lawyer, a husband... and a notorious master of excuses. To keep his affair secret, he invented an imaginary friend named "Charlie". Everything runs smoothly - until his wife insists on finally meeting this mysterious Charlie.

What to do? Simple: approach a complete stranger in a bar and ask him to play his best friend for one evening. What follows is a chain reaction of lies, revelations, and misunderstandings that will leave no eye dry.

The French comedy by Hadrien Raccah now plays on German stages as well - with biting wit, surprising twists, and sharp dialogue.
