SIGNING SESSION: "Leo and the Secret Dragon"
Hugendubel München Neuhausen, Munich, Germany
On 29 September 2026, Briony May Smith (@brionymaysmith) visits Hugendubel bookstore in Munich Neuhausen. The author and illustrator will first create a window painting inspired by her new children's book "Leo and the Secret Dragon", followed by a signing session. Participants receive a set of postcards.
"Leo and the Secret Dragon" is a picture book for children aged 4 and up. Prince Leo dreams of having a pet, but his mother, the Queen, is allergic to magical creatures. When Leo's aunt secretly smuggles a mysterious egg into the castle, out hatches the little dragon Winz - and the two become inseparable friends. When Winz is discovered and flees into the forest, Leo must summon all his courage to help him.
Briony May Smith grew up in Sandhurst and now lives in Devon, England. She draws inspiration from the fairy tales and folklore of her homeland; she spends most of her day drawing - interrupted only by walks with her dog Finbar.
