A journey through time to the golden 1920s and 1930s: magic, varieté and song from the heyday of Berlin's salons and varieté theatres.

Two artists - Marcelini with magic, ventriloquism and song - and Thomas Meyer on piano present their era with charm and wit. The programme features original magic tricks from that time, some with authentic props, the forgotten art of ventriloquism, and hilarious couplets and songs that few people know today.

Rounding out the evening are evergreens and amusing anecdotes from that era.
