Tamara Danz (1952–1996) was a German rock singer and frontwoman of the East German band Silly. She became one of the most prominent figures of the GDR rock scene and remained widely popular after German reunification. She died of cancer at the age of 43.

Silly is a German rock band from Berlin, formed in 1978. They are one of the most prominent acts of the East German rock scene, known for songs such as „Mont Klamott" and „Bataillon d'Amour". The band was long fronted by Tamara Danz and has more recently performed with Julia Neigel as lead vocalist.

📍 About the venue: Kabarett-Theater Distel Berlin

The Distel is one of Berlin's most storied political cabaret theatres, founded in 1953 in East Berlin. Located on Friedrichstraße, it has a long tradition of sharp satirical programmes commenting on political and social affairs. After reunification it continued as an independent venue and remains one of Germany's leading cabaret stages.
