The Berliner Ensemble – Großes Haus is the main stage of the legendary Berliner Ensemble theatre, founded by Bertolt Brecht and Helene Weigel in 1949. The house is closely associated with Brecht's epic theatre and continues to present ambitious spoken-drama productions.
