The Merry Widow - Semperoper Dresden

The operetta "The Merry Widow" (Die lustige Witwe) plays at Semperoper Dresden on Sunday, 29 November 2026 at 5 p.m. Semperoper Dresden, one of the world's most celebrated opera houses, stands on Theaterplatz in the heart of the city. Designed by Gottfried Semper, the building dates to 1878 and exemplifies Italian Renaissance architecture. This is one of three German dates for the Die lustige Witwe tour, which also includes performances at Staatsoperette Dresden and Oper Leipzig - Musikalische Komödie.
