Tahsim Durgun brings his stand-up program "Mama, bitte lern Deutsch" to Essen on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at 20:00. The show takes place at Lichtburg Essen, one of Germany's largest and most prestigious single-screen cinemas. The art-deco hall, opened in 1928, holds approximately 1,250 seats and sits on Kettwiger Straße in the city centre. This is the fourth of five German dates on his tour, following performances in Bremen, Berlin, and Frankfurt. The program explores language and family through comedy.
