About: Gastone

Gastone is a colourful dance band led by Giuseppe Porrello, a musician with Sardinian roots. For over 30 years they have played a style they call Spaghetti-Polka - a blend of world music and groovy beats, with lyrics that swing between poetic and sardonic. Trumpet, bass and drums round out the sound, and the dancing tends to be involuntary.
