Hamburgische Staatsoper is the oldest continuously operating opera house in German-speaking countries, with a history reaching back to 1678, and the current building opened in 1955. This is one of nine German performances as part of the tour. Mozart's work, filled with musical masterpieces and dramatic turns, will be performed by the Hamburg State Opera ensemble within these historic walls.
