About: Kafka Band

Kafka Band is a Czech music group with a long-running creative partnership with writer Jaroslav Rudiš. Their joint projects blend live music with literature - concerts typically accompany author readings or take on a theatrical dimension. The band draws on a Central European underground atmosphere, with a sound often described as dark, poetic rock.

About the venue: Muffatwerk

Muffatwerk is a cultural and event venue housed in a late 19th-century former heating plant on the banks of the Isar river in Munich. The industrial brick building hosts a wide range of events including concerts, club nights, theatre performances, and festivals. Its distinctive architecture and riverside location make it one of Munich's most recognisable alternative cultural spaces.
