Screening of "Captain Volkonogov Escaped" in Stuttgart

The story is set in 1938, in a surrealist Leningrad. At the regional Interior Affairs department where Volkonogov works, a wave of purges begins, forcing the captain to go into hiding. At the same time, he tries to seek forgiveness from the relatives of people he helped persecute.
