Valery Meladze is a Georgian-born pop vocalist performing in Russian, who launched his solo career in 1992. His brother, composer Konstantin Meladze, creates all of his musical compositions - a collaborative effort that has yielded some of post-Soviet pop's most iconic songs. Since 1992, Meladze has earned the title of Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (2006) and received numerous accolades including the Zolotoy Gramofon, Muz-TV and Ovatsiya awards.
