"Ochsenmaulsalat" - Haarsträubendes Mundartgebabbel mit Susanne Hasenstab und Emil Emaille

Curtain up for perfectly ordinary madness! In her new show "Ochsenmaulsalat", Susanne Hasenstab - author, columnist and stage performer from Aschaffenburg - once again mines the absurd comedy lurking in everyday chatter.

Joined by her long-time stage partner Emil Emaille, she navigates conversational dead ends and turns exchanges between spouses, acquaintances and strangers - at the cafe, the breakfast table or the bus stop - into short, absurdist comic dramas.

Following "Morgen ist Gelber Sack!", "Warum ist die Katze so dick?" and "Alltagsdramen", this is the duo's fourth full-length programme. This time the material covers slippers, throat lozenges and robot vacuum cleaners, Mechthild's cats and elderly neighbours in Advent, and the fateful discovery of red strings in the washing machine. The show also takes the audience to a mysterious inn in the Spessart, where on "Tatartag" - late at night - the line between human and animal communication starts to blur.
