Something Light - An Author Reading

Eva Lohmann reads from her new novel, due out on 27 August 2026. The book explores society's expectations of women's life choices - what comes after a breakup, the courage to embrace freedom, and the softest spot between two rabbit ears.

Leo is proud of her divorce and now feels like something light. In search of it, she encounters all kinds of men and one unusual friend - but above all herself: does she really want to play the whole game from the beginning again? And why does letting something light in suddenly feel so heavy? The only creature she wants to share her sofa with right now is Frederic, a German Giant Checkered rabbit.

Eva Lohmann, born 1981, lives and works in Hamburg.
